At Vakilgiri, we take pride in the product and services we deliver and guarantee your satisfaction with our services and support. Our never-ending quest for doing our best is marked by constant improvement and insistance on delivering the best accounting, financial or secretarial services through the internet. However, we do understand that at times you are not satisfied with our services. In this case please contact us immediately. We will try our best to rectify the situation by either providing a refund or a credit offer that can be used for future Vakilgiri orders.

If you are not completely satisfied with the service you received from Vakilgiri, simply login to Client Portal and create a ticket for the engagement to initiate the refund process. All help tickets will be reviewed by members of the Senior Management and personally responded to within 24-48 hours.

Refund Policy

When a payment of fee is made to Vakilgiri, the fees paid in advance are retained by Vakilgiri in a client account. Vakilgiri will earn the fees upon working on a client’s matter. During an engagement, Vakilgiri earns fee at different rates and different times depending on the completion of various milestones (e.g. providing client portal access, assigning relationship manager, obtaining DIN, Filing of forms, etc.,). The resources and man-hours spent of delivering the service make the nature of earned fee non-returnable and hence, cannot be refunded. Please note, any money paid to government entities as filing fees or taxes, or to other third parties for processing your order cannot be credited or refunded. Under any circumstance, Vakilgiri shall be liable to refund only up to the advance fee paid by the client.

It is the Client’s responsibility to review all provided documents thoroughly before making the final payment to Vakilgiri. By making the final payment, the Client acknowledges that they have verified all documents. Should any errors occur, such as spelling mistakes and details provided by the Client, the Client will be held accountable.

Procedure for Requesting Refund

Refund request can be initiated through our Platform after signing in. To request a refund, please communicate with the relevant engagement manager in the concerned chat room. Refund request over 60 days will not be accepted and only credit will be provided for completion / change of service. Your refund will be processed request within 4 to 5 weeks of receiving all the required information such as reason for refund, bank details for processing request, etc.

Change of Service

If you want to opt for a different service than the one you ordered, then you must request this change of service within 60 days of purchase. After deducting any earned fee and as mentioned above, money paid to government entities, as filing fees or taxes, or to other third parties with a role in processing your order, the purchase price of the original service will be credited to your Vakilgiri account. You can use then use the balance credit for any other Vakilgiri service.

Standard Pricing

Vakilgiri has a standard pricing policy that requires no additional service fee under any circumstance. The total fee paid by the client to Vakilgiri may increase due to increase in government fee, fee incurred by the client for completion of legal documentation,  re-filing of forms due to rejection or resubmission. In such circumstances, the standard pricing policy does not apply and hence does not affect the total fees paid. Vakilgiri is not liable for any other expenses incurred by the client related to the completion of the service.

Factors Outside our Control

Although we try our best to keep things smooth and achieve a favourable result, we cannot guarantee the outcome of your particular procedure. For instance, the government may reject a trademark application for legal reasons beyond the scope of Vakilgiri service. Sometimes, a government backlog or problems with the government platforms (e.g. MCA website, Income Tax website, FSSAI website) can lead to long delays completion of processes. Similarly, Vakilgiri does not guarantee the satisfactory outcomes of the services rendered by our Associates on the Nearest Expert platform, who are not employed by Vakilgiri. Problems like these are beyond our control and hence, are not covered by this guarantee. Delay on part of the government in processing of your file cannot be a reason for refund.

Force Majeure

Vakilgiri shall not be considered in breach of its Satisfaction Guarantee policy or default under any terms of service, and shall not be liable to the Client for any  delay,  interruption, or termination, in the performance of its duties by reason of act of God like earthquake, flood, fire, storm, lightning, drought, landslide, hurricane, cyclone, typhoon, tornado, natural disaster, or the public enemy, epidemic, famine or plague, action of a court or public authority, change in law, explosion, war, terrorism, armed conflict, labor strike, lockout, boycott or similar event beyond our reasonable control, whether foreseen or unforeseen (each a “Force Majeure Event”).

Cancellation Fee

In order to provide you the best services, we incur costs and dedicate time, manpower, technology resources and effort to your service or document preparation, our guarantee only covers satisfaction issues caused by Vakilgiri – it is not subject to changes of your situation or state of mind. In case you require us to hold the processing of a service, we will hold the fee paid on your account until you are ready to begin the service.

We reserve the right to make the best effort to complete the service before processing any refund,. In case, you want to proceed with the cancellation of the service, a cancellation fee of 20% + earned fee + fee paid to government would be applicable. The cancellation fee would not be applicable in case of change of service.
